  • It was a phenomenal class. So many solutions from a variety of interesting leaders that voice their “take on things” in different ways. I thought I was tired and drained at the beginning of class. But by the end I was energized and ready to go to work on all the things that matter the most. And I wasn’t ready for the session to end.

I seem to live in the business section of the library and the bookstore BUT what I am learning in the League is more potent. Being able to get inside the mind of six different leaders at one time is priceless.

Thank you for putting this together.

    Ms. J

  • Glenn Byers says:

Were entrepreneurs provided the opportunity to acquire multiple means of increasing their effectiveness in business, enabling them to leverage proven best practices into increased value for themselves, their suppliers and their customers, would it not be unquestionably wise to at least consider such an opportunity? What would be the value of such progressive ideas being conveyed by recognized masters of business thought who are often the originators thereof? Such opportunity, so described, exists in the form of the League of Extraordinary Minds.

Each panel session delivers fresh, high-impact content from a synergistic group of expert panelists. Panel session 8 covers numerous topics, highlights of which include: realizing increased sales through determination of an appropriate number of choices made available to customers; a process to “future proof” business strategies; why it may prove beneficial to hide brilliance in sales negotiations; and, a recommendation for entrepreneurs to adopt a strategy of growth that seeks to enhance the flow of value between suppliers and customers by means that make them increasingly indispensible in the process.

Each Panel session gets the creative juices flowing, fostering ‘possibility thinking’ that challenges you to translate such wisdom into practice. Panel session 8 is a valuable contribution to this collection of business wisdom.

  • Kathleen says:

As always, all the panelists had great insights to share. I was excited to learn that Barry Schwartz would be on the call and he did not disappoint. The Paradox of Choice runs contrary to conscious level thought, but when you stop and analyze your own actions and that of others – you see the truth in it.

Another gem from Barry – “Good enough is good enough.” Good ahead and start even though things aren’t perfect and always keep your eyes open for improvements. But start. If you wait for the best or perfection, you’ll be paralyzed and not accomplish your goals.

Jay and Rich, thanks again for another great line-up.
    Kathleen

  • Dan says:

So true about our subconscious being such a powerful tool. God gave us this amazing mind and these guys (especially Greg) gave some great thoughts on harnessing it.

  • David Becker says:

This was a great panel, Dr.Paul Schoemaker, and Barry Schwartz both had very good points that apply to every business owner. Great stuff. Thanks.

  • Michael says:

Great as usual, loved the presidential analogy, that had me in stiches !

  • Mel says:

To be introduced to this calibre of world class panelist at each session is a tremendous experience. So much extra is gained from the Action Plan condensation when such a volume of valuable teaching is presented. I’m sure to appreciate the Assessment/Planning tool as well, considering that so far all this is forming the foundation of a business yet to be even chosen. Rather interesting that Barry Schwartz pointed out the Paradox of Choice after Rich S in an earlier publication suggested coming up with 20 Strengths each day for a week or even a month until the obvious one surfaces, then that needs to aligned with an income & Maven potential. Quite a row to hoe but there’s no doubt about the tools here.

  • Cindy says:

    1. It’s very helpful to able to hear the different perspective from people who know how to create wealth. 2. The benefits I received from this panel was the information on not having too many choices, needing to get clear and focused, and I liked the perspective of Greg Hick on needing to deal with your inner dialog and staying out of victimhood–why that happens, how detrimental it can be and how to avoid it. 3. I like getting feedback from people so I can tell if I’m on track. Listening to the panel and their advice helps me to feel more confident in myself. Being confident helps me to move ahead 4. I’m not sure how to quantify their advice monetarily. My main objective is to get some cash flow happening. I have been listening to a lot of information from a lot of sources and have yet to make some movement happen. Once I find my way, then I will be able to see the effects of the collective advice I have received. 5. To me, when I first started listening to these presentations, they felt a bit contrived, but I found I could glean some excellent information and insight. The thing I like the most about these presentations is that I’m getting a good idea of the people I want to follow to be mentors in my life.

  • Brian says:

Greg Hicks has it down! This is everything. I loved how explained behaviors and what it can do when we change our behavior. This is what gets us to do the right thing-change our behavior. That was an aha moment!

  • Andy says:

The talk was great, I think it’s these types of calls that have the most impact. I love small tactics and marketing tips but these big thinking seminars adressing the core of how we think have to be top of your priority list. The one common demoninator I personally drew from the talk was actually how to set your mind up in preperation for what you want to achieve. It’s the one thing that seems to come up time and time again and that’s becuase it’s such an important factor to our success. Insightful, inspirational and really made my imagination run riot, I particularly loved the quote from Paul about the fact that we are all in the technology business, made me think long and hard at the development of certain aspects of my business. It also made me realise that if I’m going to take my earnings to the next level I need to think about the core of making a difference and improving my offreing and service, it is a very ethical way to address business and personally very fulfilling. Nice work gentleman thank you for your time.

  • Marnie says:

I took a risk, downloading The League seminars, and it paid off. The credentials of the speakers are mind-boggling, and their advice lives up to their reputations.

Their seminars helped me to locate the weaknesses of my businesses. And they provided information about how to repair those flaws. Tips about effective leadership were also invaluable, even if they were humbling – having to identify character traits I needed to work on in order to be effective as a leader. This is information I wish I had ten years ago. But better now than never.

I really believe this is the year I’ll finally recognize the options before me and act on them. It’s already happening. Higher profits seem inevitable when you take that approach.

If you’re in business and need a morale refresher, this is good place to start. Best to learn about success from successful people.

  • Dan says:

Good mix of speakers with good info. Much of the information discussed is “obvious”, but easily overlooked and not taken into account in daily business dealings.I would like to here more on “my” biggest weakness, procrastination.

  • Manju says:

The part about changing behaviours-what Greg says must be done.

  • Manju says:

    Hi Jay and Rich,
All,all your panelists were amazing and it is trult difficult to pinpoint the one biggest takeaway.
But if you had to say so,it would be the power of your subconcious mind and harnessing it the morning with clearly written steps-your mindset and your actionset-as Greg said.

  • I think we need to go back to simple.Let’s have fun and make money together, help each other become successful like we use to do.We use to help each other, now everyone is out for them selves and trying to make money off of each other, that is the problem..Powerpink

  • Patrick says:

    1. The LOEM brings together the best business minds in North America today.
    2. I’ve gained new ideas, new insights and a library of great resources to come back to time and time again.
    3. This information will help me be more thorough in my business and more persistent in my life.
    4. Over the next year, this information should bring me at least an additional $1,000.
    5. I want to tell my friends that if they miss this, they are selling themselves short.

Wonderful gathering of thought provocing panalists!Sure does get the mind in gear in listening to the various perspectives.Very powerful. Much appreciation to all of you.

  • MB says:

Rich and Jay’s mind-blowing dedication to helping entrepreneurs is demonstrated by their bringing in an amazing number of highly talented experts to the most comprehensive series of webinars ever presented on the Internet. Each proceeding webinar brings entrepreneurs deeper into how to succeed in business, and the eighth webinar is invaluable if you want your small business to skyrocket. Rich and Jay have brought webinars and the word “value” to a whole new paradigm. It will be interesting to see how this series will affect other webinars in the future. Thank you, Rich and Jay, for offering this series.

  • Jay,
I must tell you and Rich how enriching(no pun intended)the sessions have been.
I have stayed transfixed to them! The level of expertise the panel members have is amazing.
It is such a delight to be able to soak up all of the valuable information given, and I thank you both for making it possible.
May this new year bring an abundance of all the good things you desire for you and you loved ones.

  • Hi Rich& Jay

I think these panels have gotten better and better.

The most useful thing for me this time has been the small, almost incidental comments the panellists have made, which can only come from experience.

I don’t like making mistakes, like anyone else, but I do appreciate the way your panellists have gained wisdom from their failures, and those of others, and can now give good advice in nearly every sentence.

My main benefit in this whole course is in having increased confidence in facing the issues I know many others have faced, AND knowing that there is good quality help and advice available. For a one-time perfectionist, and a very independent person, this has been a great turn-around for me.

Having suffered at the hands of many mediocre managers over the years, it’s great to hear from your league of leaders.

    With heartfelt thanks

    Stephen J Barrett

  • Lisa says:

    1. Why do you feel it was a great decision for you to join the League of Extraordinary Minds?

It was very late at night when I started listening, and I really needed to get some sleep. But I found the panel so intriguing that I couldn’t stop listening!

    2. What are the 3 biggest benefits you got from this one panel interview?

Really liked all of the panelists — but everyone had a great and differing perspective — so all were extremely educational. The 3 biggest benefits are probably: “everything is negotiable”, focusing on fewer to get more, and greater appreciation of employees.

    3. How will the information you got from this panel improve your business, income, or life?

I hope that this information will influence my actions tomorrow, next week and next year. I know it will!

    4. Over the next 12 months, how much additional income do you think the League of Extraordinary Minds will be worth to you?

Honestly not sure. But I’m very optimistic of implementing some of the thinking. Let’s see!

    5. What would you say to a friend who was thinking of joining the League of Extraordinary Minds, but wasn’t sure?

The time you spend with the League of Extraordinary Minds is like digging into a vein of pure gold in terms of motivating yourself — and driving yourself forward — given the challenges we all face on a day-to-day basis.

  • Joe Sedik says:

Wow! I always thought that many choices would allow people to find something they would like. Less is more makes so much sence. Narrowing the choices so they are not overwhelmed. Very haelpful. Thanks!
    Joe

  • Informative, punchy and relevant panel of gurus.

I help micro-businesses with bookkeeping systems and it’s amazing how your panelists reinterate measuring performance, what I consider to be the most underrated benefit of timely and accurate bookkeeping. Regardless of how big your business is, knowing where you ARE, is the first step to getting to where you want to BE.

Great concepts covered, looking forward to more.

  • Hi Jay & Rich

I loved the insights into customer behavior and the concept that “less can be more”.

It had never occurred to me before that you can lose sales by giving the potential customer too many choices. These were very valuable insights.

    Regards
    Warren

  • Simon says:

Great to be able to hear the panelists differing opinions on so many different aspects of becoming a successful entrepeneur!

  • Mark Myszak says:

Each call streaches the mind further. I am beginning to wonder why I continue to do things the hard way when clearly it is easier to achieve success.

  • Adam says:

What a fantastic gift to share with the community. Wisdom furthers every action. This panel has definitely ramped up my motivation and inspiration.

  • Todd Blastek says:

Once again, this panel was chock-full of insightful and interesting speakers. Each is an expert in his field and provide useful and applicable information. However, this panel seemed a little more disjointed than the others in that each speaker focused on differing areas rather than one over-riding theme. But this is a very minor issue compared to the volumes of information provided. Overall, another home run by the League of Extraordinary Minds!

  • Bill says:

As a psychologist, conflict specialist and educationalist it was great to hear so many wisdoms from these fields presented in a business context …Barry Schwarz is particularly credible in his presentation, and Greg Hicks’s tone inspires trust, while Herb Cohen comes from a bit too ‘up on high’ for my taste, eeven though his content rings true.Looking forward to more,
    Bill

  • Ulf Wigren says:

This is clearly the best panel so far. Helping people and ask customers for help saying “I don’t know” was marvelous to hear, it really helped to get the right attitude i my Business.
    Ulf Wigren

  • Boyana says:

This panel was one of the most interesting I’ve attended so far. I was very impressed by Herb Cohen’s perspective on negotiations, and especially the example of children accepting NO as a starting point for negotiating.I also enjoyed the macroeconomic perspective put into day-to-day operations by Paul Zane. The other position that impressed me very much was the paradox of choice, presented by Barry Schwartz. I had discovered the paralysing effect of too many choices on my own behaviour, but I had never before thought about it in a business perspective. After listening to Mr Schwartz, I find it so logical that it works the same way for other people facing consumer choices as well as other business choices.
Thank you, Rich and Jay, for presenting us with such an enlightening session, and I’m looking forward for the next one.

  • I enjoy listening to the panel and getting to hear from great businessman who spark my creativity. I usually listen while working on my sites and it sparks new ideas while doing so.

  • keith says:

The best panel I have listened to. Keep it simple, don’t try and make it perfect… just get going. Thanks Jay and everyone who has been on all of the panels.

  • These presentations have been really useful to me in my business in helping me think about different approaches to work, and to work/life balance. The varied perspectives put forward by the range of your panel experts have been thought provoking as some of them chime with me and some of them don’t, so that’s been stimulating. I’d highly recommend the time spent on these webinars to new people thinking of investing their most precious resource
    Sarah

  • I am enjoying this one. Not sure who is talking. One thing he mentions is to care but not that much. this is something that Bob Burg says frequently.

  • jenny shippen says:

i have been trying to access every broadcast from the beginning but have not been able to get through one webinar without the link dropping out so would find it hard to give a proper assessment although the tiny bits i have been able to listen to have been informative and think judged on that others who have had the advantage of getting full access to this knowledge would have gained considerable value its just a pity im not one of them

  • Todd says:

Thanks, as always, for the outstanding call! The presenters always offer interesting and new perspectives that leave me mulling over how I might best utilized them. The insights gained from these calls will be enormously helpful in my business. Keep ‘em coming! Thank you.

  • Rom says:

I have heard oftentimes before about the value of a dreamteam of advisors and haven’t done enough. This came along at the right time.
In this interview alone I can see how my business will be changed.
For a start I have been waiting (procrastinating) to build a large suite of products. I don’t need that: Too many otpions reduce decisions being made.

Creating options when things look bleak so that stress is reduced and health maintained is obvious but the techniques were not.

This was definitely worth the time listening. Already I have plans for the rest of today…

  • A truly extraordinary session for current and would-be entrepreneurs strategizing next steps for 2010 and beyond — in business, investing and personal life.

Thanks to some select lessons — e.g., “Less is more,” “Good enough is good enough,” “Production before perfection” — our GoodBiz113 readers can expect to see more focused and high-quality content, as well as more frequent, albeit shorter, posts.

Thanks for the stimulating, win-win-win “shot in the arm”!

  • Laurie says:

PZP, you’ve been a light in the wilderness for a long time. About time I stopped nodding my head, and actually do what you say. Thank you.

1.Why join: lots of new insights, outside my normal interests, very useful.

    2. biggest benefits:
    - less choice is more sales.
    - do only high leverage activities
    - to negotiate; do care, but not too much!

    3. improve your business, income, or life? More focus. Add simplicity.

    4. next 12 months, how much extra income will this be worth to you?
    20% increase

    5. say to a friend who was thinking of joining the LXM? Just try it out, lot’s of value, no risk.

  • Harold says:

Wow! Great stuff in this interview like Good enough is good enough,
Get clear on what you want, prioritize them and take action.
the 3 am questions and Do your business planing quarterly instead of yearly.

I am very impressed with what Paul Zane Pilzer said and what he knows a bought
    business.

  • Becky says:

I have learned so very much about integrating the many aspects of business to be successful through the League of Extraordinary Minds.
All of my friends and business associates that have listened are overwhelmed at the VALUE given.
Simplicity stands out. Ethical character absolutely necessary.
Thank you so much for offering these great interviews!!

  • Neil says:

What I am hearing is continually allowing me to reflect and to keep refining what I am doing.

    Thanks guys.

  • Frank says:

As usual this was great information from top experts. Thanks guys

  • One of the best panels so far. Basically because the panelists concentrated on simplicity as the central tool to change and the central tool to maintaining what works already. Everyone on the panel was great. Rich and Jay – as always superbly and masterfully interviewing from the heart. Herb Cohen was my favorite panelist, I’ve mentored under his writings for some time now. It was wonderful how he down played as he spoke of down playing or starting from a very low keyed stance while maintaining a candor of not being the best looking or smartest guy, from his wonderfully subtle New York and ethnic style. I’m as southern as they come but I love Herb and his statement about America needing these tools right now couldn’t be truer told. Thank the League and pass the ammunition!

  • Elsa says:

Hi, I didn’t even know how much I was taking away. The next day I told a friend about something I had heard – the less is more. Or, the other way around, more choices, fewer sales.

I couldn’t remember the source. Oh, so you listened to last night’s League of Extraordinary Minds, he said. Yes. And I will definitely be applying the less is more.

  • Marc says:

Gentlemen (Extraordinary) I have only 1 word for this interview – KUDOS.
Each of these experts were indeed, in my humble opinion, Extraordinary.
The information shared was concise, informative and as varied as the participants. Something for everyone…AND the Caveat about not having too much choice was very pertinent to me. I have been often occupied on the evenings when many of the other interviews were held and therefore unable to attend. I must say that I was extremely pleased and grateful to have heard this one.
    Congratulations for the content.

One remark concerning the interviewer – (for whatever its worth)…instead of having to search for new superlatives at the end of each question or feeling like you have to give some kind of compliment EACH time…how ’bout just saying “thank you” after each answer and save your compliments for the end of the interview? It sounded to me like you were kind of forcing to find something to say to each person after each question just to have something to say. Many of the answers were great, but I think you could just remain simple and put in one final superlative Thank-You-remark at the end for each candidate and that would make for a tighter interview – especially for those listening to the recording afterwards.

  • Jen says:

Informative, I always learn something. Less is more stuck with me from this one.

  • frans says:

Thanks for your fantastic and foremost practical input..
    Fine teaching, fine learning.
    Thanks again!

  • elyse says:

What a fantastic line up! Herb Cohen, Paul Zane Pilzer, Tony Jeary were inspiring to learn from.
Thank you Rick and Jay and the LOEM.

  • Jonathan says:

Thank you for such fantastic content.

  • Mohammad says:

The League of Extraordinary Minds continues to provide invaluable material. These sessions are literally bursting with information!

  • Ian says:

First time I have tuned in and found it very positive and interesting. No doubt we can all learn something from people with hands on experience.
I will be better prepared next time but already I have gained
How long are these sessions 60 minutes? 90 minutes? or 120 minutes
Definitely be persistent be focused and listen to your client

    Thank you

  • Larkland says:

This was a great session as usual. One that has been clear about this series and brought out in this session, is the issue of clarity around goals. It’s is very important to have understanding of the goals and the actions to get to those goals.

The other part I liked a lot was the issue of negotiation. It really reminds me about the statement “ask and it shall be given to you”. I think confidence and focus will get you a far way as a business person or professional.

  • Siti says:

Simply awesome. This is simply an invaluable resource everyone should get their hands on. The content is just tremendous.Practical tips, and insights of great value on how to boost business coming from people who are experts in their fields and know what they are talking about.

  • Alvin says:

Herb Cohen is as entertaining as he is brilliant!

Tony Jeary’s practical responses are immediately actionable, even for a procrastinator like me.

I’ll be listening to this several times!

  • Ross says:

Very useful content from people I have a lot of respect for. I’ve gained new insight on how powerful the mind is.

  • Bert Dean says:

After previous purchases from the incomparable Jay Abraham, I knew my decision to join The League of Extraordinary Minds was a “no-brainer”. (I was right.)

The 3 biggest benefits I got from this one panel interview are:
    a. “Live” exposure to six of the most brilliant marketing minds in the Universe
    b. Content-rich, practical, proven concepts from people I admire and respect.
    c. Instantly-implementable strategies and techniques I can start enjoying immediately

My business is becoming more focused as I am learning to BELIEVE I can achieve much more than I ever dreamed I could before. I already see my income growing significantly in just the first month of membership. And my life is becoming less stressful because I know I don’t have to rely on myself alone for the answers to my challenges.

The League is, without a doubt, the greatest MasterMind Alliance in history.

Based on what I’ve learned and started implementing already, I think that I can actually quadruple my personal income in 2010.

Finally, if one of my friends or family members was having trouble pulling the trigger on joining The League of Extraordinary Minds,I would simply say, “Join NOW. Don’t think about it. Don’t ask your spouse or your brother-in-law. Don’t worry about the modest monthly membership fee. Just do it.”

  • Rick says:

It’s mind-boggling having access to such powerful insight from this caliber of experts especially for such little investment.

  • How do you keep doing better and better each week?
Because that is how the Extraordinary Minds series is shaping up. These are incredibly detailed panel discussions that literally overwhelm with actionable ideas. Cannot wait for the next one.

  • Tom Moore says:

These webinars are pretty good…many useful nuggets of information from many different perspectives. After listening, I never felt like I wasted my time.

  • Alex says:

Wow! You’ve certainly found the right panelists in each area. It’s great to see things from a higher perspective. I can become a better negotiator by following the tips of the experts.
Thank you very much for making all this content available to us all.

  • I have always garnered some excellent takeaways from each session. In this session, I particularly enjoyed the responses from Barry and Paul who seem to resonant with me. I have already ordered books by both of them!

  • Dennis says:

Amazing and insightful information once again. I really like how focused the panels are. Looking forward to the next one.

  • Thanx again for a great session. many reminders of the information, basic principles, skills, and processes needed to Lead and Succeed through uncertainty.

  • Yes I did receive some useful info…More than anything, I learned about using
many different ways to communicate in a more positive way…
    Thomas David Stringer

  • TedCohn says:

I was disappointed in the repetitious and too-frequent self-serving answers among the useful suggestions.

  • Nikola Iliev says:

    Happy New Year!
It is great to be able to listen to these great webcasts once again. The best lessons I learned today are great lesson on being an entrepreneur – have passion, have vision, have persistence, have focus. I am learning about making your own business and I will achieve my goal to make my own business soon!

  • Joy says:

What can I say except “fabulous!” I particularly liked the clarity with each person answered your questions and how they broke things down into easy to understand concepts.

Herb Cohen simply cracked me up and the belly laughs I enjoyed from his laid back but totally authoritative stance was refreshing, especially in light of the economic times we are in.

    You guys rock!

    Thanks again.

    Joy

  • Thad says:

    Hi guys
Thanks for another great seminar! I take so much from each of these and look forward to the next. I hope you have a great week and I will tune in next week.

    Thad

  • Virgil says:

Great content in all the sessions but in this one I liked the most the info about negotiation. For me that’s the area where I have a lot to improve.
    Very helpful, thank you.

  • Robert Orcutt says:

Very rewarding, reason being ,each person shared something that was important thru their life so a different perspective could be obtain for us to make up our own minds how to apply their ideas in our quest to develop our own business. Not one person giving one way to do things. Thanks for giving back to our community. Robert T. (Bob) Orcutt

  • Ellis Silver says:

This has been an absolutely astonishing series, and this episode was particularly outstanding. I now have a long (very very long!) list of major changes and small tweaks to make during 2010 and, more importantly, I now understand how each one of them will make a positive difference. So it’s a very big “thank you” from me!

My only real complaint is that perhaps the audio quality could have been better, as I sometimes struggled to make out what was being said. This is particularly the case when people mentioned the names of websites or products, as I sometimes had no idea what they were saying. For that reason, it would have been helpful if a list of products and websites mentioned during each episode had been published on the site after each broadcast, or emailed to subscribers.

Oh, one other minor gripe while I’m here: despite attending every single broadcast at the designated date and time, I continue to receive messages for days afterwards telling me that I’m missing it and there are only x days/hours to go before the episode is removed. I really don’t appreciate all those messages, since I was there at the proper time, every time. One of those messages was particularly whiney and went on about how much effort you’d put into it, and how everyone else but me had tuned in, so I was an idiot I for missing it. But, as always, I’d already heard the broadcast. That really got on my nerves.

But, overall, it has been a very positive and helpful experience.

  • Paul B says:

Great analogy with kids and decision making – Aim high and raise the expectation of the prospect, Don’t take no for an answer, no is the starting bargaining position, form coalitions to win your position.

Another great session and well worth the time.

  • Michael M. says:

“Fast Tracking Your Business” – another great session. Key takeaways for me were:
Hicks – “People are not productive when they’re not happy.”
Cohen – “Your negotiating savvy will determine your success & happiness”
Jeary – He helps people change their thinking..so they can improve results.
Pilzer – The “Technology Gap” is where you’ll see profits and dominance.

    Thanks, again.

Many, many thanks to you Rich and Jay for providing to us such valuable, informative knowledge from experienced professionals! There was much to learn, not only on starting up a business, but also on just interacting and learning to get along with the human race! Thanks again and hope to be able to listen to more!

  • I loved how it was said that spiritual principles are not negotiable…but everything else is, and how children just do not take no for an answer. Maybe that’s why someone who gave us a lot of spiritual principles emphasized that we must become as a little child.

  • JP says:

Great information as always. I can’t wait to implement all the ideas!

  • Brian says:

Jeary… on dealing with distractions I always believed the principle but never heard it talk about as it being so important. I need to get back to basics and keep doing what is working for me. I need to stop confusing things. I found Mr. Hick’s behaviors for reducing stress very useful. It was especially a different way of looking at it. I also really loved Mr. Cohen’s humor at times to light up the mind with all the goodies I was digesting! Maybe this was not humor, but our way of honestly realizing this is the truth that we are not doing what we know we should be doing!???
    Thanks Jay and Rich!

Panel discussion was very informative as well as thought provoking. Try the Action guides as well because I am also getting more out of action guides each month; especially in review.

I am please and enthused about LoEM… excited about digesting / implementing these various wisdom…and realizing the tremendous impact LoEM has already had on the Internet… over 150million sightings on Google to date… Rich and Jay have indeed made an extra ordinary mindset come to the forefront.

    Thanks Rich

Once again, the panel was superb. Totally enjoyed Herb Cohen’s perspectives and Tony Jeary’s take on the one sheet strategy plan and concise three steps on clarity, focus, and execution.

Whoever splices these sessions together has been cutting out sections, which detracts a bit, but still one of the most valuable series I’ve ever experienced.

Thanks again for offering such a valuable program!

  • as usual great info. Fran Tarkenton from last extraordinary minds was a kick. love that guy.
This time the info about social media movement hit home with me. For me to keep focusing on delivering quality content and bringing useful value to my client base of course is key. The Happiness / Joy factor was great to hear and all the tidbits of info that i can revisit over and over to keep motivated and moving forward correctly and in sync with clients. thanks for delivering great content and value.

A fabulous group of people – each superb in their field but somehow Cession 8 the dynamic was not as good as the other cessions. But certainly very much worth it as usual.

    OK, here it is.
Herb Cohen was a pleasure to listen to. Loved hearing Barry Schwartz’ jam story. Heard it before, but worth being reminded that “you confuse, you lose”. And I am grateful to have exposure to all these experts.

But you asked for my opinion, so here goes.

We’re not talking Milli Vanilli here, but the cut and paste
production is getting painfully obvious and distracting. To
me this is a compilation recording, not a “panel”.

In my humble opinion, (hey, I can do humble…) a panel is when the panelists are present at the same time
and comment on what the other said, or dovetail comments.
It’s distracting to listen and sometimes a “panelist” is cut
off mid-answer by Rich or Jay saying “Great point” or “Blank, what’s your perspective?” There’s gotta be a better way to put these together!

I know the guests are big gurus and it’s hard to get them all on the phone at the same time, but isn’t that what the audience expects when it hears “panel”?
Considering the amazing exposure you’re giving these guys (and no matter
how well known they are, you guys are giving them exposure to new audiences) they should we willing to move a few things around to be available for a 90 minute conference call.

It’d make this really come to life and seem less canned. Jay is a world renowned marketer. Rich is a dynamic speaker and a brilliant guy. It pains me to hear little canned responses from you guys.

    My 2 cents.

The big take away for me was the simple business planning system.

*Set out your vision in 3 to 4 sentences; then 6 create strategies to turn your vision into reality; and finally a list of tactics to achieve each strategy*

    Really Cool and simple

I would just add a list of benefits so that you ‘want’ more than ‘need’ to take action

    1. Panel discussion was very informative as well as thought provoking.

    Thanks.

  • Gail Doby says:

Very interesting perspectives from the panelists last night. I particularly liked the economist’s comments. Very unusual angle to think of the macro view especially for a small business.

  • Igor says:

1.Why join: lots of new insights, outside my normal interests, very useful.

    2. biggest benefits:
    - less choice is more sales.
    - do only high leverage activities
    - to negotiate; do care, but not too much!

    3. improve your business, income, or life? More focus. Add simplicity.

    4. next 12 months, how much extra income will this be worth to you?
    20% increase

    5. say to a friend who was thinking of joining the LXM? Just try it out, lot’s of value, no risk.

  • Joan says:

    1. Why join? Valuable perspectives from a spectrum of experts.
    2. benefits – less is more, don’t be an expert(ask questions), show your passion to the world.
    3. how info will help business – clarity/vision/remind myself WHY everyday.
    4. how much is it worth over the next 12 months to my business – growth, focus, service leadership.

Excellent panel of experts. Thanks for this.

  • Ryan Miller says:

I love these webcasts. I have gotten unimaginable wisdom and help and tips from the expert pannelists. Thank you Rich and Jay for doing this. I have never been so blessed in my sales as I have when I apply these principles. The most important thing I feel that I heard today was, slow down, take the time to stop and think and re-evaluate. Forever grateful for this experience.

    Ryan

  • Catherine says:

    1. Why join? Valuable to get so many different perspectives on core business issues. No one industry has all the answers.
    2. 3 biggest benefits from this panel interview? Limiting options makes customers happier. The world is moving from vertical to horizontal structures. Imp of sharing your passion & giving more than the expected value to your suppliers, distributors, employees & customers. 3. How will the info improve my bus? Helps me to keep focused on what’s really important. To keep the big picture & learn from other’s experience. 4. Over next 12 months how much will this be worth? I expect to double my business. 5. What would I say to a friend about LXM? My passion is in a niche that consists of one on one interactions with my customers. So it is very insular. These panels are a lifeline… an easy way to connect to the outside world & stay abreast with new trends & the hot debates in the business world. This helps me understand my customer’s challenges better & to know where & how to best leverage my resources. The daily grind of running a business can get very dry – if we let it. Each panel’s topic gives me plenty of new things to work on & try out, a bit at a time, and this keeps helps me keep things new, fresh & exciting for me – thereby keeping my passion fueled. Thanks to all the panel experts for participating.

  • Clifford says:

    1. Why do you feel it was a great decision for you to join the League of Extraordinary Minds? Phenomenal ideas.
    2. What are the 3 biggest benefits you got from this one panel interview? Everything is negotiable. Limit choices makes customers happier. Give everyone the choice of negotiation.
    3. How will the information you got from this panel improve your business, income, or life? Hard to say… but I think the idea of everything is negotiable will come in handy.
    4. Over the next 12 months, how much additional income do you think the League of Extraordinary Minds will be worth to you? Probably nothing -but that doesn’t mean these ideas aren’t valuable. Just that it hard to connect success to any one thing.
    5. What would you say to a friend who was thinking of joining the League of Extraordinary Minds, but wasn’t sure? Great source of ideas, try it.

1)It exposes me to a number of different people. and ways to look at what I’m trying to do.
    2) Both confirming and refuting what I thought I already knew. This makes me stop and think about why I thought I knew the answer. Maybe I was right, but for the wrong reasons, or wrong for the wrong reasons. I have to make sure, or continue being possibly wrong. Even if I don’t agree with what they say, I still learn something, which is the point of TLoEM, isn’t it.
3)In my religious beliefs, I’m keep going back to what I believe and why. I follow the chain of what/why from the very beginning, to see if I still get the same answers. If current experiences and knowledge still lead me to the same conclusions, I still believe what I claim to, and for the right reasons. If I don’t. I can hopefully see where I went astray. In all my businesses, I have tried to have the same core values. It;s easy to lose sight of them, just as I can do with religious beliefs.
    4) If I could predict that, I could win $300M in Powerball, LoL. I know it will help me do better, but just as in my personal life, what I believe will make me a better, or at least no worse person. In business, making more is good, but not _losing_ (or not making less) can be just as good. :-)
    5) What the H— are you waiting for?

Master Surgeon of Business Infrastructure Transplants , it’s jaw dropping enlightment to be able to spend just a day in the “ExtraOrdinary Minds” Of those who’s names are synonymous with such founders and philanthropist as Jay Abraham ,Rich Schefren ,John Carlton ,Mark Harris ,Warren Buffett ,Anthony Robins ,and very scincere ,respectable recognition to Stephen “The Phoenix” Pierce ,Anik Singal ,Mike Filisaime. The list of “The League” is awesomely reknown and vast. Please forgive me if I come off sounding like a snob. Maybe being born with a complacency to poverty and hunger !? Observing for over half a century as the American Eagle perched in awe ,watching the morality ,prosperity ,scientific ,economic and military status of our great nation was being flushed out to sea. Betrayed by stone aged political deciet ,greed ,vanity and the fear of equality. So I digress ,please forgive me if I perceive this humanitarian attempt to (TWTF) teach world to fish as a quest of the undying spirit that makes our country great. A humble and respectful quote of our Commander ‘N’ Chief , the immortal words “It’s Time For A Change”. My hope is that history will accurately record our great countrys’ transformation this decade. On a lighter note let’s not overlook the GPS the integrity OB1 has installed in our American Eagle. Prop’s to The League Of ExtraOdinary Minds!

    1. great questions to FOCUS the experts to bring their best ideas to the table; loved it!

    2. the ONE take away for me is how essential it is for a person to be ABLE TO EVOLVE THEIR THINKING based on input outside of himself without losing the internal CLARITY and overall PASSION for the business

    3. thank YOU ;D

To have a panel that shares comprehensive business mythologies that will take our companies into the new decade is wonderful fruit to eat. The prespective of great minds with great track records and a hand on the post of society give tremendous leverage in strategic planning.

Jay, thanks for the opportunity to receive these nuggets of wisdom that we can incorporate into our day-to-day implementation. I have learned more in these small sessions of extraordinary minds then I have at business school.

Thanks for the knowledge, the fresh approaches, the world renowned advise, and the commitment to helping the entreprenuer succeed through the great recession. Fabian Harris
