I’ve been an avid listener to The League’s weekly discussions since Panel One rocked my world. After hearing Marshall Goldsmith (Panel 7), however, I could no longer NOT post a “Thank You!” Marshall Goldsmith astounded me!! After the call, I boogied over to his website and gobbled up more of his tasty, practical, intellectual treats.

Each of The League's panel discussions has enriched my knowledge base; however, Marshall Goldsmith ignited my resolve to think differently about 360 feedback. I know it’s a great business tool, but I’ve too often seen it hijacked and manipulated by unscrupulous persons. Marshall changed my perspective. He helped me see that “Reciprocal 360” could be the flagship of effective unfettered feedback systems. “Reciprocal 360” could provide stouthearted leaders with the truth, the whole truth, and virtually nothing but the truth … if they really want it. The catch, however, is it only works when leaders publicly remove the barriers (i.e., veiled punishments, penalties, retaliations, etc.) to honest, open, universal feedback. When this is done, everyone associated with the company knows there is nothing to fear and everything to gain in sharing truth. Sumo-Grazie, Marshall!!
