The information was invaluable. Very encouraging that honesty, integrity along with wise business practices are offered
Thank you for solid information and the positive experience.

  • Frances says:

This was awesome and I learned so much from listening in………..I hope you will consider doing this again in this same format….thank you so much!

  • Tom Moore says:

Some really great ideas…I’ve listened to many of these panels,
    and benefitted from each.

  • Kathleen says:

Thanks for another insightful panel. I especially enjoyed the format where John, Spencer, Jay and Rich were able to interact and build on each other’s comments.

The one insight that I think everyone should put into practice is: When the pressure’s on and you’re feeling overwhelmed, stop, take time to slow down and think things through. Let your brain relax and see if it won’t start focusing in on the bigger issues.

Recently, my husband and I did just that. We spent a long weekend in a rustic Smokey Mountain cabin. By the end of our trip, we had identified our niche and the product to offer and had a clear direction.

Two quick thoughts from John that I’m going to post on my bulletin board: Never have more than 5 priorities… Eliminate one before taking on a new one. AND “Nobody wins by killing themselves.”

  • Gilbert Crowell says:

Johnson and Kotter make a great duo by combining the individual and the organization. Too often the start-up guru does not realize that the skills needed to start a business are not the same as those that it takes to successfully manage a growing enterprise and its personnel. Many joining a start-up are independent thinkers and are not your typical management challenge anyway, which makes it even more difficult for the entrepreneur who is focused and independent, also. Open and continuous communications are essential so that all can articulate the same vision/mission and how what they are responsible for contributes to that direction. All of this is the very essence of simple vs. easy — simple to explain, but NOT easy to implement and sustain. Great stuff!

  • Sonia Fortier says:

Another excellent panel! I learned several things from each panel in the series. From Panel 9, I liked their emphasis on having a vision for your company, sharing it with everyone in the company and truly stepping up to lead every step towards your vision. The frank discussion about continually looking at the truth and reality of your situation is a lesson every business owner and management team should take to heart. The lists at the end on what to do to make change stick and keep moving forward were truly valuable.

  • Tom Moore says:

Enjoyed listening, picked up a few good ideas.
    Tom

  • Michael says:

Good mix of experts from several different diciplines. Enjoyed the replays because it was impossible to make all the Thursday night dates.
    Thank you,
    Michael

  • mel says:

Absolutely the most incredible conclusion to this series of introductions to extraordinary business minds & their worlds of international influence.
I wonder how many appreciate the wonder of Spencer’s “Most Powerfull tool” in the implimentation of one’s enjoyable Sensible Vision ? That is so fundamental it’s worth framing to hang on the wall as well as engraving deeply in a more permanent place. Rich & Jay’s amazing offer at end caps the series off, confirming that tool’s continuing validity. Congratulations in your well founded spreading of success – I’m honoured to accept admission to The founder’s Club

  • Charl says:

This was exceptional! Really learned so much! Thank you.

  • John Brodeur says:

This entire series has proved so valuable to me Thanks Rich & Jay

  • Penny says:

Thank you for all the valuable insight! What an opportunity to learn!

  • David says:

I wish I could have gotten more from them, some sounded really good. I really didn’t understand the way it was set up, especially at the very beginning with the salespage, and I got a little lost there instead of jumping right on in. Reading the comments, though, it seems these others have to give more to be in the same class as you two’s works!

  • Mike says:

A huge thank you to everybody who made these wonderful events possible. I didn’t manage to listen in every time, but when I did I was very impressed.
Sometimes, just an odd comment can make a real difference and I can think of at least one ah-ha moment along the way.
    Best wishes

  • Je says:

I never would have guessed that sitting around listening to people talk would provide such deep insight into various topics. It’s insane how much I have learnt from all of the speakers and their experiences, especially how all of them each have their unique way of looking at things – it makes you realize that not everything is set in stone and requires on true way of looking at it. But by listening to a variety of experiences, it opens your mind to all the possibilities present.

So keep up the good work Rich and Jay!

    J

  • Hi Rich & Jay

Again thank you for letting us hear these people with so much experience and insight. Even simple things for them carry a lot of significance for those of us who haven’t yet walked in those places, or faced those challenges.

The emphasis on optimism and honesty with oneself is a gentle dig in the ribs I seem to need each week – make me feel like King Canute LOL, having to push the negative thoughts and influences and people away so often. I know it’s better to reframe what’s happening to see it differently, but that is not yet an every day, every moment response for me, but by the grace of God, we’ll get there.

Again, thanks for the motivation that both you and your panelists provide.

All the best from New Zealand

  • Robert says:

Excellent I was lucky enough to listen to this tele-seminar and enjoyed what the guy’s were saying. A lot of what they said made sense and much of what was said will take time to understand. Some good advice from those people in business.

Thanks to Rich and Jay’s League of Extraordinary minds I have experienced inside information from business’s that would never really communicate with me. Occasionally they drop the odd pearl, and more often than not they all show examples of learning from each others group discussion.

The format of these types of meetings should be if not already be practised throughout business’s, and if I ever get up and running I’m sure I will try and mirror this excellent form of communication.

If not I am happy to say that subscribing to these tele-seminars has at times been my highlight of Christmas 2009 and carried me through the ebb of information in 2010 and way before that when this all began. Again thanks guy’s great anchor, if it’s any worth I give these seminars, the whole shambambo ten out of ten. I just hope your making dough to payback for all the content you are providing, and I will leave you safe in the knowledge that your charity has been noted.

  • Frytia says:

Most is said in the previous reactions. I also enjoyed and learned a lot from these sessions. With “only” two speakers the last session, was even better, for me as a foreigner, because it was easier to follow who was talking and grap the overal idea of the speakers. Great info, pointers and loads of insights to go forward with.
Thank you very much, Rich and Jay and all the speakers and everybody who made this happen. Thanks also for the opportunity to listen in on the weekends. Next year I will gladly follow up on the results!

  • John says:

The best discussion yet…got quite a few takeaways for my business.

  • Victor says:

Thank you for the great info and inspiring stories.

  • Sharon says:

I’ve gotten at least one valuable tip from each of the interviews. My reading list has expanded and I just picked up one of the books on happiness. I hadn’t heard of a lot of these people so I appreciate the introduction! I now have new ways to avoid being “stuck”.

  • Ariana says:

The scope of these interviews provided us with insight into very experienced mentors. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and outpouring of relevant, uplifting, urgent advice that I’ve already begun implementing in my life, even in subtle ways. Thanks for the integrity and quality of the gathering.

  • Leon J. says:

Very thought provocative insight on being truthful about myself and where I am now and where I want to be in the future. By strategically focusing on focusing on the top five or less priorities I can achieve my goal.

This whole series has been exceptionally helpful. I must take action to implement what I have learned and constantly revisit the recordings to listen for ideas that I have overlooked.

Thanks to all the panelist, Rich, and Jay.

  • Jomer says:

    Congratulations Rich and Jay!

You did a very good job. All the sessions were very informative, educational and above all free. I believe that you will receive your reward today or some other days.

The last session gave us light in the middle of darkness. It gave us hope and encouragement to see good things in bad times. I hope you will continue to help see the partially or totally blind people in business.

Thank you so much. I wish both of you more power and wealth. God bless!

  • Rebecca says:

Just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to both Jay and Rich for putting together such an amazing calibre of powerful talent. I have been overwhelmed with the generosity of spirit and knowledge shared by each and every speaker.

Change as an opportunity to gain something better. Simple is enough and nothing more. Never more than 5 priorities at once. Do what your customers want – really well. These were but a few pearls.

I felt a deep resonance with trying to do it all and the fact we actually need to retreat and do less, to come out with a vision of our strengths, calculating where to make changes and the ultimate long term direction and then LEAD… that this time shall pass and brigther times are ahead.

John and Spencer pointing out the obvious ‘like what have you done well in the past and how can you do it better’, ‘to look at the bigger picture and uncover the good that is hidden’, ‘choosing to paint a better perspective where “I get to do this” instead of “I have to do this” and get a new perspective on the support that is already surrounding you.

Sharing, doing more for others, creating the most value are common themes now and it appears that times are really changing and holding everything as a closely guarded secret is crumbling before our eyes – these webinars are proof! I feel renewed – Thank you for all that you do.

  • Your Universe is your creation. This is because everything else in the Universe responds to the vibrations sent out by you.So at the personal level, the universe you experience is the product of your own vibrations. The Peaks and valleys in Business are also like -wise. How else can you explain the mystery of a large number of entrepreneurs excelling in whatever they are doing, while in the same market, others are sitting and cursing unscrupulous Bankers and Share Market Lords for the mess they are in.
John Cotter and Spencer Johnson have illuminated the dark alleys of the Valleys and shown the gems scattered there for those who would dare and pick them up!
They have done me a favour of re-confirming my values and reassuring that, monetary progress apart,I am on the right track.

Very soon I would be back,to seek membership of the Premium level of the League,so that I can get to have permanent access to this whole collection of Gems. It goes without saying that I would encourage others to become members too.

I have posted a detailed article on Jay’s and Rich’s efforts to make all these sessions happen at my web Site (www.sharedopportinities.com)The post is scheduled to appear on Tuesday, January19th ,2010

  • James says:

Looks like I am in the minority here as I have not really gotten anything useable from the 6 webcasts that I have listened too…

  • Alvin says:

I missed a few of the initial sessions and now I’m regretting it.

Thanks again for putting together brilliant stuff like this.

  • Brandon S. Langowski says:

Well this was the last one. Two great authors were present. Amazing how much the information reflects from other meetings, but I guess Truth is Truth! Personally, a couple gems I got were, 1) Never have more than 5 priorities, if a 6th comes along, deal with the first five or kill it! 2) Two men was facing architectural hardship, one man closed business, told everyone he would come back and rehire when things improved. Followed a dream of boat bldg in Mexico, it took 2 yrs, came back, hired everyone and his business succeeeded (I guess, speaker did not eloborate), 2nd man, stayed in business, paid everyone, then went BK, everyone lost their jobs. It was shown sometimes you need to think differently and not just accept a failure route, but think, HOW CAN I WIN? That goes to the perspective, which again, repeats, but TrUth is TrUth. So I like a quick story about an opera signer who had 2 performances, one person asked, wow you gotta sign again at X time, she said now I get to sing again at X time. It changes the whole dynamic, which was cool. One author brought up how lucky we are all everyday, our worst day is better than most in the world, so don’t forget all your blessings! Well, I thank the League, I thank Jay and Rich. It was a pleasure being a part of your great experiment, I am forever grateful and wiser as a result!

  • Piet says:

Thanks for the training. It is amazing to have such a line-up of incredible speakers and authors that I never would have the opportunity to listen to. Kudos!

  • Dwayne says:

Thank you Rich and Jay….the content you gentlemen have put together and shared with all of us goes far beyond absolutely anything I have experienced in my life to date as far as helpful, practical ,and ready to use information goes. And for those who are in a situation in their lives where they could not afford to pay…you have honored them by distributing it for free. The info from these sessions I have been integrating not only into my brand new start up business but my personal life as well and the results are immediate and very effective. John and Spencer were right on the mark when they said you two are bringing technology and information to brilliant levels we haven’t seen before….Congratulations and keep up the great works!!!

  • Lani says:

The quality of speakers you have had throughout is amazing. They all have loads to share and are honest and thoughtful contributors. Spencer’s advice this week was particularly intuitive.

It is great to hear new thoughts and ideas in these discussions, but equally beneficial to hear your panel members refer to things that are already part of my philosophy. It helps me be confident with where I am already and with my aims to incorporate new strategies. Sometimes the strategies described are a simpler way to achieve what I’m already aiming for, which is really brilliant and very useful.

Everyone can benefit from improving their leadership qualities, not just entrepreneurs, but in particular, we do have a culture (here in Australia, probably throughout the Western world) of promoting good technicians into more powerful management roles without acknowledging the need for these skills.

Good on you, Rich and Jay, for the initiatives and values you have achieved with your program.

  • Harold says:

Great stuff. The League of Extraordinary Minds panel has done it again, By providing topnotch and entertaining business info. Thanks.

  • Rafal says:

I enjoyed all series of The League of Extraordinary Minds. It’s been refreshing experience. I guess major thing is to focus on the solution. What you focus, you’ll get. That’s what we have to constantly remind ourself. And this series has been most helpful in doing so for all of us who took part.

  • justin says:

These sessions are great. One of the biggest things I’ve gotten out of the whole deal is awareness, a bit of a slap in the face really (in a good way), to stop doing unproductive things to just ’seem busy’ and really focus on only those things that are both efficient AND effective.

  • Raymond says:

    Good learn alot thanks.

  • 1.Why do I feel it was great decision for me to join the League of Extrordinary Minds?-To understand the mentality of successful business people. 2.What are the 3 biggest benefits I got from this one panel review?-A)Do not do to much.B) Limit time to core activities that produce results.C) Valleys are temporary and find the good in the bad times. 3.How will the information I got from this panel improve my business, income, or life?-Learn to take myself in a new direction, opposite of what I have done in the past. 4. Over the next 12 months, how much additional income do I think the League of Extraordinary Minds will be worth to me?-No idea at present. 5.What would you say to a friend who was thinking of joining the League of Extraordinary Minds, but wasn’t sure?-Make an effort to learn outside of their limiting belief’s whether business, personal,or life.

  • As a business and personal development consultant/coach listening to this series was an oppurtunity to be supported and validated in my work. Sending this off to my clients was also great as they have heard so much of this from me and now they are hearing it again from these experts.
It is a win win all the way around.

  • imrat says:

I just finished listening to the last session and really enjoyed all 9 Minds. It provided me with new insights and triggered some great ideas.

As Jay mentions at the end, the thing missing for me is real actionable steps, and I think I will subscribe to get the transcripts to help me revisit some of the great key points.

    Thanks Guys!

  • Patty Jones says:

Looking at my business as a Illusion is exactly what I was doing up until I met my master mind, brainstorming partners. We are in the first stages of building a business together, this was tremendous advice for me.

    Thanks

  • 1. Why do you feel it was a great decision for you to join the League of Extraordinary Minds?
Lately I have been looking for examples of thinking and behavioral patterns of successful people. I have found a lot of them here.
    2. What are the 3 biggest benefits you got from this one panel interview?
    • Don’t compare
    • Find good hidden in bad
    • Look at how you went to the valley and do the opposite.
    Great lessons!
    3. How will the information you got from this panel improve your business, income, or life?
This information gives so many perspectives and such a vast picture with so many RIGHT decisions! It encourages living without panic, just paying closer attention what happens around.
    4. Over the next 12 months, how much additional income do you think the League of Extraordinary Minds will be worth to you?
I have no answer for now.
    5. What would you say to a friend who was thinking of joining the League of Extraordinary Minds, but wasn’t
There are people you have never met before. Each of them is a success in his own way. So, why can’t you use a chance to understand, why they are successful and why you can, too?

  • Glenys says:

    Absolutley brilliant!
Just listening to these recordings gave me some fantastic ideas and also the energy to put the ideas into action!

  • Helmut says:

Sorry to put some water in the wine of all the satisfaction many experienced during these sessions.
Rich and Jay surely did great work organising those well-known experts.
My respect and thanks to them.
But for me as European there were many disappointements:

What is the first and utmost prerequisite for every expert and teacher?
He must himself get understood by his students! How?
By good speaking, good language, clear construction of sentences and his reasoning, easy to follow logic.

But many speakers didn’t care: speaking in unknown american idioms, munching their words, swallowing them, gluing half phrases in to one expression, changing the speed within even half-sentences – I was constantly running behind. What did he say, what did he mean? So I lost rather quickly interest at all in a “wisdom”, the expert was not able to present adequatly. Those experts spoke only for themselves, not for their audience. So how valuable was their advice really when even they didn’t care? Result: loves labor lost!

The best panel were the experts along with Herb Cohen. All very good and experienced speakers with fine pronounciations and coherence. I really savoured it.

And I think, even Jay Abraham and Rich Schefren can improve their voices and speaking.

    Helmut,

  • Mark Myszak says:

What really confounds and frustrates me is why so many businesses would prefer to struggle.

Is the fear of stepping out of the failing pack so strong that they won’t change even as their business turn to dust in the face of competition.

It really is easy to do business with the Extraordinary Mindset

  • Thanks Jay and Rich,

This series has been sooo over-delivered it’s almost too much for words to describe – how thought provoking, instructive, insightful and actionable all the LXM panels have been.

I am twittering about it all the time!

    Thank you guys,
    Craig – The 7thDwarf

  • Martina Aumua says:

Thank-you so much for the free seminars. I have thoroughly enjoyed them and looking forward to implement the wealth of information I gained into starting my business.
    Thank-you again,

    Martina Aumua

  • Mike K says:

Very solid panel discussion. It made me think of the president of the company I worked for in Houston during the oil bust in the early 80’s. Business were failing, entire neighborhoods were nothing but foreclosed homes, interest rates were climbing and it seemed like everything was falling apart yet our business grew by 40+% the first year and continued to grow.

Unlike the management at GM, our president told us what was going on, that things really sucked but we could make it if we stayed focused, did not waste time or effort and continued to take advantage of every opportunity that came our way.

The truth will indeed set you free.

    Thanks

  • Tom Grimshaw says:

I continue to be surprised at how interlocked are the pieces of the puzzle. I am quite sure everyone who listened to this session took away great value. The planners got some “how to focus on activity” and the doers got some “take stock of where you are and the direction you should be taking”.

I won’t repeat what else others have said but one other thing I got from it was an almost throw away line that enables me to communicate more effectively – something to which I continually aspire.

“The truth will set you free. But at first it will make you miserable.”

How much truth do we miss in order to avoid that infinitesimal moment of misery? How much trouble would we avoid for ourselves if we were courageous enough and careful to observe the actual truth rather than merely supporting evidence for our perception of things.

    Great session.

    Thanks.

  • Carl Huxley says:

Thanks Rich & Jay for another informative teleseminar.

The idea that the downturn gives us opportunities if we step back and think rather than panic and act on fear is something that I believe in.

Here in the UK there is a lot of doom and gloom in the media coverage of the recession. A rare and inspiring moment for me was when Lord Alan Sugar was asked about it by a BBC reporter during a business conference. It wasn’t the reply the reporter was expecting!

    //video.aol.co.uk/video-detail/bbc-look-east-lord-alan-sugar-outburst-recession-and-car-dealer-jailed-crane-crash-accident/3185706614

Your presentation has also inspired me but more importantly has given me practical strategies to solve short term problems and to plan long term. Again the focus is on actions to take rather than theory. Another great job!

  • Another really interesting discussion and so much of it fitted in with things I have been thinking about. There is such a tendency for a sole trader to rush around trying to do everything and life does become a grind.

  • For anyone wanting cutting edge thinking this is the place to be. The information that is shared on the panel is always worthwhile and useful whatever the business you are currently in. It is easy to find inferior sites that offer much less than genuine successful experts and trail blazers, and if that is what you are after then by all means go there and listen to it. But for me, i only want the best, that is why i am HERE.

    K

  • Nikola Iliev says:

This was another great panel and it being the last one, I really feel grateful for all the messages from these panels. Regarding today’s panel, the one message that I really took to heart is the advice to take some time off, seek quiet, step back and reflect on the whole situation as an outsider and thus seek inspiration for a turnaround.

Thank you very much once again!

  • Rus says:

Stimulated much thought. Focus on seeking the truth.

  • Larkland says:

Well, this a great panel even with just two experts. I think the issue that comes out is whole thing of honesty and really taking stock on what you could do better.

The other point I like is the contrast with activity and productivity where you are so focus on doing a lot but not really making any progress at what you really want.

    Good job..

  • Wyman Crane, askthewYman says:

    Jay and Rich,
Thank you again for a stimulating evening. I now have a list of brilliant minds to Google and a long list of books to read this year. Nice to have more than the same gurus telling how they did it.

Yes, I need the nuts and bolts, but it is great to hear a little deep thinking as well.

    Take aways:
    1. Focus on one or two ways to get new customers, not dozens.
    2. Take a day or two for you and your employees to relax and read some common books to discuss in a brainstorming session.
    3. A leaders job is to get all the employees to take action and not wait out new ideas until they go away.
    4. Be honest with employees if you have been going in the wrong direction. Invite their input and support for the new actions.
    5. If you don’t know what to do, just do the opposite.
    6. Create a sense of urgency, but not panic.
    7. Gain loyal customers by helping them personally during a recession.

This has been a really great series. It gives me ideas for different ways to approach business owners about improving their profits.

    • John De Oliveira says:

Read your comments, find it very difficult to implement your ideas through to my staff. My employees treat their work as a necessity to earn a salary and have no enjoyment in what they are doing.

  • Mike says:

Jay and Rich, thank you for bringing to the entrepreneur market some very useful quality information. The insights are very simply just remarkable. And while your guest were a key part of all the information, your questions and summation at the end really did a good job bringing it together.

That is great bonus, do we just go back to the main website, do you plan on emailing us with some supersecret backdoor link? :)

  • Brian says:

When I first thought that we would only have two guests, I thought we would miss out. But boy was I wrong! Jay & Rich, you really know how to get the most out of your guests. I have over 12 new ideas to implement from just these two guys. What wonderful Thursday nights I have had. Thank you Jay & Rich!

  • I love it. Change these days has to go from “I have to…” to “I get to…”
Crisis and opportunity are real bedfellows.
    Lloyd

  • Thank you so very much for providing us with the extraordinary minds sharing their real world knowledge as executives, coaches, and at the university-level business training.

There is so much to digest in this call . . .

When evaluating your business and how to proceed in this business climate, Truth is the key. Accurate information = power.
Take responsibility and never have the victim’s POV. Never do anything through fear. Proceed, make your decisions as if you have no fear. Focus–where is the opportunity?–what is my market telling me it needs right now? Frenetic = failure. Denial = failure. Comfort can entrap.

And remember balance in every aspect of your life is important. Take time to reflect and enjoy what’s important, like family.
A true leader is well- balanced, humble and appreciative.

Better drives change. Better is the operative for change. Create a sensible, simple vision that makes common sense to your team. Use all five senses.
This is such a guiding and useful series! Thank you, all.

  • This was an excellent series with some of the most successful and knowledgeable experts in the field of business.
I am still amazed at the amount and quality of information that was available.
I am so encouraged about where my business will go as a result of the actions I am taking and will continue to take because of the information received.
It was indeed a panel of extraordinary minds and each person delivered handsomely, each time!
Jay and Rich,I thank you individually and as a team for having the foresight to create the panel, and too for the extraordinary actions that you both had to have performed to make it happen time after time.
May this new year bring you both an ‘Abundant SUPPLY’ of all that you desire for yourselves and your loved ones.
    Sincerely,
    Barbara Henry

  • Frank says:

I’m very sorry to have missed this session.

  • This series is terrific. Best thing Rich and Jay have ever done for small businesses.
Thanks guys, much actionable information to channel and grow my new business saving American manufacturing to strengthen our future.

  • Loyd La Rue says:

Connectivity aligns not only our business but our life’s as well. For it is so true that what sense does it mean to declare a business success when your personal life is in shambles… in short our wealth is dispersed by the quality of our life. as Gandhi said: “My Life is my Message.”

I can not think of a better way to declare my wealth than that…

Thank you Rich and Jay for bringing quality and wealth to each of us…

  • Joy says:

Just a few of the many takeaways from this session:

    - When times are tough, opportunity abounds.
    - With humility comes flexibility.

I feel like I’ve gone back to the best Grad School on the planet. I’m learning about business and life all rolled into powerful, thought-provoking sessions that never stop delivering. I’m only sorry to see them end. I’ve learned, and re-learned a lot. Thank you both.

  • Ryan Miller says:

As always an awesome, solid, informative session. Rich and Jay, props to you guys for setting this up. I can not tell you how much these panels have impacted my sales and my outlook on sales. Anyone who hears about the league and does not decide to participate, does not deserve to succeed in business. If they do on their own, great for them, but how much bigger and better could it have been with The League behind them? If you and The League have helped measley little old me this much, I can only imagine what you have done to help others. A million thanks.

Great nine program took a lot out of it somethings i would never had thought of.Stop think plan all makes it look easy from the outside but not easy to do when the bills are coming in every day.
Thanks again and looking forward to the long trip ahead.

It’s incredible that we had already nine panels. Unfortunately I could not
attend to them all. Great stuff all the way! Eye openers foremost and reminders to ideas and thoughts once learned.
Following the series even improved my understanding of the English/American language as a bonus! Once again thanks.

  • William Hutchison says:

    Very educational and thought provoking!

  • Steve says:

The series overall was useful. On many of the calls I took a page or two of notes. Last night I hung up after a half hour. Disappointing, especially since I really like Johnson’s books.

  • Alan says:

Focusing on what can be managed and not being in fight/flight chicken-with-its-head-cut-off mode 24/7 thinking it is what is required for survival in today’s turbulence were the big takeaways for me. The entire series has been both an impressive body of big perspective “thought pieces” and actionable items. Thanks for doing this. Please begin to plan the next one!

  • Arieljoy says:

This was really fabulous. But then they have all been fabulous.

It’s the doing that counts: I get carried away with the planning and need to remember to implement.

It was helpful to me to hear them separate out the immediate survival consciousness from prosperity consciousness. It is so easy for me to get “stuck” on the survival consciousness because it is so much more immediate and I appreciated their reminder that to run a successful business one foot ALWAYS has to be firmly rooted in the present while the other is firmly planted 2 years into the future. Otherwise the business will not experience forward movement.

I also loved hearing them define the difference between SIMPLE: Enough and nothing more, and SIMPLISTIC: Naive and not enough. This can be a challenge because SIMPLE is by definition elegant and I tend to overdo.

Also it is important to define the truth in any situation in order to avoid confusion and retain integrity. And in order to define truth I must get outside of myself; otherwise my ego will prevent me from seeing the truth of the situation.

The one thing that went over my head: Manage your good times? Was that said as the first part of, “save some resources”?

    Again Rich and Jay,
    Thank you so much.

Many thanks Jay & Rich. Great clear simple info from the experts. I was challenged by the action vs productivity point and I have already implemented in my working week a calm/study time on Monday mornings.
Liked the comment about GM from John and as Spencer said the truth sets you free – BUT why has GM never got there!!
This decade will see the ‘lean’ get fat and the ‘fat’ die!

This stuff is absolutely priceless lol, the answers are here and I don’t even have to ask the question. Focusing on one task makes perfect sense and was how I once function but it’s so easy to get caught up in the busyness and lose focus. Thanks to ALL in this panel for the wealth of great advice.

  • Joan says:

Another excellent session. I enjoyed the format of this one with the interaction between the two experts. I especially liked the message to have a maximum of 5 priorities and to stop the frantic activity. Also to step away from it a bit and look at the big picture. What do people really want or need (go fishing for a day and think :) ).

  • Jeanetta says:

This session was very uplifting. It reminded us that this nation has been through tough times many times before and we made it through those times coming out stronger and wiser each time. The tips on how to encourage employees were also very helpful.

  • john says:

I love having joined the League because the value Jay brings to his materials and projects is top of the top. The tone in the two panel speakers inspires me through their experience and the way they project that. Providing quality , I must provide quality – this is NOT just lip service. If i believe in myself to live up to that standard then i’ve done my best, that should translate into my own personal projects.
The possible income over the next 12 months will be what it will be – i’ll do my best with the info i recieve and let the $$$ take care of itself.
I would say to a friend , if they want to expand their mind for the better and learn something that there’s mountains of priceless information coming through the League inverviews – awesome .

Thank you so much. I’ve participated in all but one session and I have learned so much from all of them but today I so needed to hear all of the great suggestions. I had not realized that working 12/24, seven days a week has contributed to bad health amongst other things. From this day forward, I will try my very best to work 8 hours a day and only six days a week. I’m cutting down to stay healthy and alive. My health, business and family will be much richer. Once again, thank you and blessings many times over to all of you.

  • Hope is what anyone facing uncertain times wants. This panel has not only given us hope, but great ideas pertaining to change we all need.
Though we cannot ever be sure about how our prospects are going to receive the information we’re sharing with them, we can be sure that change is our only constant; how we let those changes impact our business and lives is our choice. Change is change, neither good nor bad, just what it is.
Leverage is the key. How are we going to leverage our opportunities?
This panel has liberated many from their old paradigms.
You all have made a huge difference for me.
    Thanks

  • Coach says:

First, finding and developing great connections is critical to long-term business success. Everyone can say that; not everyone does it very well. A main motivator for spending valuable time and energy learning from mentors and coaches is access to the big picture. The League of Extraordinary Minds certainly provides access to vision, the big picture, to all those fortunate enough to be listening.

Secondly, the huge bonus of hearing both diversity and unity work together is always a plus. The experts on The League’s panels bring their unique success experiences and perspectives to bear on something all share in common: achieving wild success with good ethics, good attitudes, and great life satisfaction. Thanks for the great company!
