I started listening to the panel discussion at lunchtime and didn’t realize how long it was. At first I was just listening while eating but soon enough my sandwich got cold as I started making notes. These minds were sharing on subjects I was often oblivious of. I didn’t know that I didn’t know. The ideas were both real concrete things to do and esoteric ways to think. I found it amazing the way Jay Abraham probes deep and wide into the questioning of the panel. There was so much, one listen was not nearly enough. I will raise my level of competency.
AWESOME. Some of the best insight came during the recap at the end. The subject matter was a paradigm shift on a number of levels. As a B2B seller of financial services, the subject matter was incredible!
This was the best investment I’ve ever made in any training program. After I listened last night I couldn’t wait to go out and sell this morning. The first thing I did was go to a customer that I have not been able to close for a year. I made a $3200 sale to a guy who told me he would not spend more than $300. I learned so much last night. The fear of loss is a bigger motivator than the hope for gain, people will always see you as they first see you, and how to use emotions to sell. It is also great to hear that some of my thoughts and ideas are “on the money” and worth developing in my business. I am moving to a new software platform, which means redoing the site from scratch while keeping the current site productive. Pre-suasion, really tailoring your message to each customer, realizing that people have contradictions, realizing that people buy based on their emotional response…Fantastic stuff. Also, people turn off their critical minds when presented with an authority figure….Plus don’t be afraid to test, be flexible.

Amazing! I’ve taken away more from this presentation than I have from most college level marketing courses. And in 2 1/2 hours rather than 2 1/2 months! The panel was fantastic, diverse enough to provide multiple perspectives while still reinforcing the ideas of the others. The concept of Pre-suasion, the Six Principles of Influence and the concept of intigrating marketing into product development are just a few of the outstanding ideas – ideas can be applied to any marketing vehicle for any product or service. It is so great hearing something different, new, and exciting versus the same old thing everyone is trying and not necessarily having a lot of success with. There is so much information here to digest. Really a great learning opportunity.
Session 2 explored the psychology of the minds of customers to influence the customer to purchase, along with the ethics of the sale, and had studies and research on brain functioning: “sensory brain”, “emotional brain” and “rational brain” As one speaker said: “emotion squared” where 5 times the decision to buy is emotional as opposed to rational. The sensory brain is related to the reptilian brain and is mostly visual. Visual decisions are half the brain’s function and is very important to the sales and marketing of each person’s product. Thanks for the insight(s).

This evening’s panel discussion was absolutely packed with powerful and usable marketing information. I’m confident that it will help be do a much better job of promoting my coaching work. In fact, I’m just now setting up my blog/website. It’s changed my way of thinking about how I want to do it. Many thanks to all of you for a great training opportunity.
I thought the best take away was the action plan that we can all use in our marketing – Rich & Jay explained when summing up:
Focus on the 3 biggest pain points of your prospects (goes back to studying your market), take those pain points & create a product that has 3 benefits that target/eliminate those pain points. Contrast those benefits as far as where your prospect is now & what life is going to be like with those benefits (contrast of the before and after), back up those benefits/claims with proof.
I’ll be referring to this action plan when selling any product from now on.
It would be great if you gave the pannal one chapter each in a book. You would have the most powerfull six books on markerting.

My notes are interspersed with so many ideas that came up during the call on how I can take what I’m already doing and tweak it to be more effective both for me and my clients. Though I’ve heard many of these concepts before, the level of understanding and the juicy connection of hearing it explained by experts from a place of authenticity just makes it all more compelling, motivating, and usable.
Jay and Rich, your conclusion and action segment at the end is simply excellent. Thank you!
Again a ton of worthwhile ideas. This session built upon the last with once again an understanding that people brains are emotionally based and not rational. Which is nice to know, but I really now finally understand how to actually do something with that knowledge. The wrap up by Rich and Jay was spectacular. Focusing on three pain points, contrast the before and after for each, and back it up with proof. Its a prescription for my next sales letter.
Understanding the need to train people to read my emails, by getting them to read the first three or so makes a lot of sense. Another big takeaway I can really do something about.
I like the theory, I love the practical applications.

In our real estate investment business, our plan has always been to give first. We already know that irrational decisions have been made, for anyone who could fog a mirror could qualify for a mortgage. There are people who are willing to help. My take from this panel is that the marketing training out there has been just the opposite and it is refreshing to see we are on the right track. It is a very good idea to join the program and I am glad I have recommended it to my friends. Rich thank you for the invitation, for this has always been your business design, to give back. 3 things from webinar #2 I took away are that 1. 20th century marketing is not good enough 2. Pay attention to customers emotions 3. Better understanding that the brain plays in 21st century marketing.
Information from the panel has increased my awareness of how consumers receive marketing. The importance of community marketing.
Over the next year I would imagine my business income should increase by at least 100%, if it were more I would not be surprised. I train affiliates in my business so,information is passed on to others, increasing impact.
In telling a friend about “The League” who is on the fence, I would let them know I have been a receiver of the content (webinars 1,2), and it delivered value. The discussions kept me captive for 90+ minutes for each webinar.

The heirarchy issue with large companies that hinder the creative and decision makeing process is very real; whereas marketing becomes a board joint venture in short copy that excludes emotional benefits.
To many companies use generalalities instead of value propositions that set them selves apart from their competitors. Smaller companies are definitely in a better creative position, that thereby allows them to test different strategies, where board members “STOP” ANYTHING THAT IS NOT TRADITIONAL”, FEARFULLY REJECTING CREATIVITY; or as Peter Drucker said “marketing and innovation”. Joining the league of extrodinary minds is beneficial for small and large companies alike and I highly recommend and personally GUARANTEE massive improvements.

I wanted to join because it was important to me to receive the transcripts as I am not always available to be on the calls. The 3 biggest benefits is that 1)learning that it is more important for you to like someone before they like you 2) set the scene for your product to be scarce 3) have staff introduce you “as the expert…”. I think all of this will set a new direction for my business. I am not certain exactly how much it will affect my income but I feel certain it will. I would encourage everyone to at least listen in and pick out the parts that are applicable to their business and how they can use it to their benefit.
I’m a total skeptic when it comes to hype and build-up, so came in expecting to be disappointed. But these folks truly are extraordinary minds. I’m realizing how little I’m focusing on influencing my customers and what the triggers to do that might be.

The idea of reciprocity (of giving first) makes total sense! Give first, then someone feels an obligation to reciprocate. Also, realizing the difference between right brain and left brain people is a cause of friction a lot of the time among people. This is valuable to understand because emotional benefits are key when selling to individuals. In addition, the concept of scarcity ties into someone not wanting to miss out on something. I can use all these concepts to greatly enhance my approach with customers in the coming months. I will say… it’s about emotions, truly: besides the quantity and quality of information – greatly exceeding all my expectations – there is so much feeling in these panels, goodwill, sincere generosity… I could go on for hours… I hope it will have a great impact not only on my life and my business, but on the entire business world. I am realistic about it: there is so much information from the most reliable sources, at such high value, proven, tested, already generating millions… well, it will be transmitted, repeated, quoted, taught over and over again, implemented to a result that I can only see it as a huge, quantum leap forward. I trust I will use the membership to improve my business by doubling the turnover for the next 12 months. This League if greater than Marketing, than persuasion, sales, NLP… it’s a fountain of wisdom capable to pass any test and bringing results… in many cases instantly! Once in a lifetime opportunity, brilliant idea to put it together, thank you!
Wow! Listening to your sesseion with the expert panels is both educative & inspiring. It is ladden with golden nuggets of insight, tactics, wisdom & experience. While listening, it is obvious that you are in the presence of MASTERS. That alone, aside the highly concenterated knowledge is electrifingy. Truly – all business make their product the star…but in truth it is…the customer that is the star.. who needs to be diligentyly, passionately, delicately & precisely served in the fashion of a 20 star hotel…& design products around the customers. Creating new products..or better..new categories, segments or indutries altogether. All Brands should n must be custom tailored. Bespoke for the Queen/King normally called the client/market. A phenomanel service Jay Abrahamn & Rich are doing to entrepreneurs n marketers. By profusely giving & sharing such knowledge they themselves are firmly establishing themselves are crediable & admirable authorities in the universe of marketing & growing your business & profits. What impresses me most is that every single panelist put the Human Being, the TOTAL human me and you at the center of their thoughts and preoccupations. This is indeed a major shift in the way we look at consumers.

I think that the information or experiences shared by the panelists are loads of eye-openers for me about marketing. I can use it for my health-related business. What especially struck me was giving importance to being a student of humanity, understanding and really giving value to the customers. Also, using the word YOU in communications. I would tell my friends that it really is worth joining the League because they talk about relevant topics in the current market today and applying these new techniques even in the midst of the great recession!!

Worth listening to and studying simply for the distinctions these folk communicate. Distinctions with respect to old and neuromarketing and more importantly distinctions with respect to what the research says really works.

Here we are rethinking our marketing and working on ‘getting it right’. This webcast, with its range of viewpoints and ideas, provides a catalyst for our marketing makeover. I suppose the biggest benefit of the webcast is the stimulus it gives me to get going, without having to search a whole lot of sites, books and articles to find it.
